Duane Sept is an award-winning professional wildlife and nature photographer, biologist and freelance writer.
He was born in Edmonton, Alberta and graduated from the University of Alberta with a biology degree. His photographs have been published internationally in displays, books, magazines and other publications. Duane also gives workshops and lectures on nature, macro and wildlife photography.
His biological work has included research on various wildlife species and service as a park naturalist. Today Duane brings a wealth of information to the public as an author, in much the same way he has inspired thousands of visitors to Canada’s parks.
His published books embrace a wide range of subjects including marine life, mushrooms, birds, animal tracks, butterflies, wildflowers and others.
